在7月22日至23日的两天时间里，韩国外交部长官赵显将与泰国外交大臣在菲律宾马尼拉共同主持韩国—东盟外长会。
Trong hai ngày 22-23/7, Ngoại trưởng Hàn Quốc Cho Hyun sẽ đồng chủ trì Hội nghị Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Hàn Quốc-ASEAN với Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Thái Lan tại Manila, Philippines.
在本次会议上，双方将讨论加强合作的措施，同时推动双方全面战略伙伴关系愿景落实。双方预计将强调在面对全球性挑战时加强协调的重要性，特别是中东局势紧张带来的影响。韩国和许多东盟国家在很大程度上依赖于进口能源，因此当能源供应或国际海运通道遭中断时，极易受到波及。
Tại cuộc gặp này, hai bên sẽ trao đổi các biện pháp tăng cường hợp tác, đồng thời thúc đẩy thực hiện tầm nhìn về quan hệ Đối tác chiến lược toàn diện giữa hai bên. Hai bên dự kiến sẽ nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc tăng cường phối hợp trước những thách thức toàn cầu, đặc biệt là tác động của căng thẳng ở Trung Đông. Hàn Quốc và nhiều nước ASEAN phụ thuộc nhiều vào năng lượng nhập khẩu và do đó rất dễ bị tổn thương khi nguồn cung cấp năng lượng hoặc các tuyến đường vận chuyển quốc tế bị gián đoạn.
