据越通社报道，会见东盟秘书长高金洪时，王毅外长强调，中国始终坚持国家不分大小一律平等，坚持与邻为善、以邻为伴的睦邻友好政策。
Theo Thông tấn xã Việt Nam, khi gặp Tổng thư ký ASEAN Ko Kim Hong, Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Vương Nghị nhấn mạnh, Trung Quốc luôn tôn trọng sự bình đẳng của tất cả các nước, không phân biệt quy mô, tuân thủ chính sách láng giềng tốt, hữu nghị, đối xử tốt và hợp tác với các nước láng giềng.
王毅外长指出，今年是《东南亚友好合作条约》（TAC）签署50周年。中国是第一个加入该条约的大国，带动了其他大国相继加入，大幅提升了东盟的国际地位。中国将继续支持东盟共同体建设，支持东盟坚持团结自强。
Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Vương Nghị chỉ ra rằng năm nay đánh dấu kỷ niệm 50 năm ký Hiệp ước Thân thiện và Hợp tác ở Đông Nam Á (TAC). Trung Quốc là nước lớn đầu tiên tham gia hiệp ước, điều này đã khiến các nước lớn khác lần lượt tham gia, nâng cao đáng kể vị thế quốc tế của ASEAN. Trung Quốc sẽ tiếp tục ủng hộ xây dựng cộng đồng ASEAN và ủng hộ ASEAN đoàn kết, tự cường.
此外，王毅外长表示，今年也是中国—东盟建立全面战略伙伴关系5周年，是承前启后、继往开来的关键年份。他指出，当前世界正经历深刻演变与动荡交织，但东亚地区总体保持了繁荣稳定，这一成果来之不易，各方均应倍加珍惜。
Ngoài ra, Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Vương Nghị cho biết, năm nay cũng là năm kỷ niệm 5 năm thiết lập quan hệ đối tác chiến lược toàn diện giữa Trung Quốc và ASEAN, đồng thời là năm quan trọng để kế thừa quá khứ và mở ra tương lai. Ông chỉ ra rằng thế giới hiện đang trải qua những thay đổi và hỗn loạn sâu sắc, nhưng Đông Á nhìn chung vẫn duy trì được sự thịnh vượng và ổn định. Thành tựu khó khăn mới có được này cần được tất cả các bên trân trọng.
王毅外长强调，中方愿同东盟一道，深化双方互信，加强相互理解与支持，维护中国与东盟的共同利益，捍卫“全球南方”国家的合法权益，推动国际秩序朝着更加公正合理的方向发展。
Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Vương Nghị nhấn mạnh Trung Quốc sẵn sàng hợp tác với ASEAN để tăng cường sự tin cậy lẫn nhau, tăng cường hiểu biết và hỗ trợ lẫn nhau, bảo vệ lợi ích chung của Trung Quốc và ASEAN, bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích chính đáng của các nước trong “Miền Nam toàn cầu”, thúc đẩy phát triển trật tự quốc tế theo hướng công bằng và hợp lý hơn.
