Bún bò Huế không chỉ là món ngon nổi tiếng mà còn là biểu tượng văn hóa quan trọng mang đậm tính lịch sử, nhân văn và đặc trưng văn hóa vùng miền của cố đô. Chủ đề “Ngày bún bò Huế” thể hiện nỗ lực của Thành phố Huế trong việc xây dựng Bún bò Huế thành sản phẩm du lịch văn hóa tiêu biểu, góp phần xây dựng Huế thành một trung tâm văn hóa, du lịch độc đáo của Việt Nam và cả khu vực.
该活动汇集了来自顺化及河内、海防、义安、奠边、富寿、广治、岘港、平定、嘉莱、胡志明市等众多省市的餐馆、企业、手工艺村和厨师协会参加，共设80间展位。除了顺化牛肉米线，游客还有机会品尝到众多地方特色美食和OCOP产品。
