委内瑞拉外交部长伊万希尔平托，和越南驻委内瑞拉大使武忠美前往机场迎接越南救援队。尽管经历了长途飞行和较大的时差，救援队全体成员身体状况良好、精神饱满，始终保持高度戒备状态，随时准备投入救援行动。

Ngoại trưởng Venezuela Ivan Gilpinto và Đại sứ Việt Nam tại Venezuela Vũ Trọng Mỹ ra sân bay chào đón đội cứu hộ Việt Nam. Dù phải bay đường dài và chênh lệch múi giờ lớn nhưng tất cả các thành viên trong đội cứu hộ đều có thể trạng tốt và tràn đầy năng lượng. Họ luôn trong tình trạng cảnh giác cao độ và sẵn sàng triển khai các hoạt động cứu hộ bất cứ lúc nào.

伊万希尔平托表示，任何语言都不足以表达越南党、政府和人民在委内瑞拉遭遇灾害的困难时刻所给予的深厚情谊。他代表委内瑞拉政府和人民，向越南迅速派遣救援力量赴委参与震后救灾工作表示诚挚感谢。

Ivan Gilpinto cho rằng không lời nào đủ để diễn tả tình hữu nghị sâu sắc của Đảng, Chính phủ và nhân dân Việt Nam trong thời điểm khó khăn khi Venezuela hứng chịu thiên tai. Thay mặt Chính phủ và người dân Venezuela, ông bày tỏ lòng biết ơn chân thành tới Việt Nam đã nhanh chóng điều động lực lượng cứu hộ sang Venezuela tham gia công tác cứu trợ sau động đất.

越南救援队队长范文巳少将表示，越南派遣救援力量赴委内瑞拉，不仅是履行国际人道主义责任，也是两国传统友谊和团结合作精神的生动体现。越南救援队将全力以赴，与委方救援力量密切配合，高质量完成各项救援任务。

Thiếu tướng Phạm Văn Sĩ, đội trưởng Đội cứu hộ Việt Nam, cho biết, việc Việt Nam cử lực lượng cứu hộ tới Venezuela không chỉ thực hiện trách nhiệm nhân đạo quốc tế mà còn thể hiện sinh động tình hữu nghị truyền thống, tinh thần đoàn kết và hợp tác giữa hai nước. Đội cứu hộ Việt Nam sẽ dốc toàn lực và phối hợp chặt chẽ với lực lượng cứu hộ Venezuela để hoàn thành các nhiệm vụ cứu hộ khác nhau với chất lượng cao.
