陈俊英教授强调，在全球性挑战日趋复杂的背景下，各科学院及研究机构不仅履行科学研究职能，还需要发挥知识对接以及加强科学与政策对话的作用。越南科学与技术翰林院希望推动系统分析在政策咨询中的应用，同时将越南科学家与关于战略技术和可持续发展的国际研究项目连接起来，并扩大在东南亚这一正面临诸多增长挑战地区的合作网络。
Giáo sư Chen Junying nhấn mạnh rằng trong bối cảnh những thách thức toàn cầu ngày càng phức tạp, nhiều học viện khoa học và tổ chức nghiên cứu khác nhau không chỉ thực hiện chức năng nghiên cứu khoa học mà còn cần đóng vai trò trong việc cập nhật kiến thức và tăng cường đối thoại khoa học và chính sách. Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam mong muốn thúc đẩy việc sử dụng phân tích hệ thống trong tư vấn chính sách, đồng thời kết nối các nhà khoa học Việt Nam với các dự án nghiên cứu quốc tế về công nghệ chiến lược và phát triển bền vững, đồng thời mở rộng mạng lưới hợp tác tại Đông Nam Á, khu vực đang phải đối mặt với nhiều thách thức tăng trưởng.
IIASA代表卡伦·利普斯（Karen Lips）女士认为，IIASA 在过去50多年中的核心价值在于搭建一个平台，让科学通过跨学科研究和国际合作网络将各国紧密联系在一起。与此同时，IIASA 科学外交总监苏西·基钦斯（Susie Kitchens）女士强调，科学外交的基石首先是建立人与人之间的信任；正是从学术对话和专家网络中，才形成了长期合作以及基于科学依据的政策。（完）
